Halfway (2020)

It's about a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. The breakout performance is given by Rory Calhoun in a small but pivotal role as 'Dean'. Although Academy Awards are given to shorts, it's unlikely this would win one. 'Rory Calhoun' is the stage name of screenwriter Gerard Robinson who is in pre-production on 'Failure to State a Claim', a satire of the corrupt legal system in Georgia with a particular focus on the widespread absence of ethics and morals of most lawyers.
