In a dystopian future, 16-year-old Tally Youngblood eagerly awaits her cosmetic surgery to join a perfect society. However, after seeing her friend Peris transformed, she notices a change in him and joins a rebellious group that fights against imposed conformity. Based on Scott Westerfeld's novel, this sci-fi film examines the dangers of social control and the obsession with perfection.
