Why April 23 is a children's day? The documentary "Children's Republic" aims to discuss the main factors that are thought to have played a role in Atatürk's presenting April 23, which is the opening day of the Turkish Grand National Assembly to children, as a hypothesis in their historical ties, and open them to public information and discussion in a whole. 85 years after the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the program aims to exhibit the unknown aspects of history and Atatürk, and explains the reasons why April 23 is given to children as a holiday on TRT screens on April 23. Grand National Assembly of Turkey, when it is opened in 23 April 1920, not only the start of operation of a source of national will; it also heralded the beginning of a new era on our land.
