Va Pensiero - Staatsoper at JailSessions (2020)

During the Covid19 pandemic lock-down, the three choirs of Berlin's state opera (Staatsoper Unter den Linden) couldn't rehearse for months. Together with the artist collective JailSessions, they performed and produced the famous piece "Va, Pensiero" of the opera "Nabucco" by Giuseppe Verdi inside an abandoned jail in Berlin-Köpenick.
