The Inspection (2022)

Young, gay Black man Ellis French joins the Marines in an effort to fit in a system that would otherwise reject him. Despite struggling with ingrained prejudice and the demanding routines of basic training, he discovers unexpected strength, support, and camaraderie in this new environment, giving him a hard-earned sense of belonging that will mold his identity and drastically alter his life.
