Raw Yolk (2020)

The winner of the Grand Prize (Asian American Film Lab) category was a film about putting one in the other person's shoes. The film opens with a Caucasian man who apparently thinks that the Coronavirus should be called the Wuhan virus, and that "literally EVERY disease comes from China." The plot takes an imaginative spin when he sleeps and wakes up in the body of a Korean woman living in Seoul, Korea, and gains new perspectives on his views of Asian culture and what it means to be Asian.
