Finding Faith (2018)

A young couple are having issues due to differences in faith. The girlfriend confronts a pastor at her church about her concern that her boyfriend will go to hell for not believing in Jesus. The Pastor confirms the girlfriend's fear that the boyfriend will indeed go to hell if he isn't "saved." After an argument, the boyfriend abruptly leaves the apartment to his weed dealers apartment to get some relief. Upon hearing about the argument, the dealer informs the boyfriend that he in fact is also a Christian and that Jesus is real, and offers him Psilocybin mushrooms to help him find Jesus. The boyfriend goes home, takes the mushrooms, hallucinates, a Christ-like figure comes to him during this hallucination and informs him that he has been living his life wrong and the only way to be saved is for him to quit his job, travel to third-world countries, and become a missionary. The boyfriend agrees, decides to do just that, and tells his girlfriend; she is shocked and frightened. She just wanted him to start going to church--now their lives will be forever changed.
