DIANA the only female professional boxer in Uganda (2020)

This story should have ended in national glory for the 26-year-old athlete. Instead, Diana was excluded by her own government from competing in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games solely because of her gender. Refusing to be beaten by the system, Diana now runs a specialized boxing program for Ugandan girls in poverty, dreaming of one day seeing a woman represent her country in Olympic boxing.
