Sam is over men. She's over dating, over rejection, and over the heavy feeling of always being let down. Her solution? Dragging her long-suffering best friend to a no-men retreat. During their first session- run by the retreat's eccentric owner- Sam is confronted by the stories she hears and is forced to see her own experiences- and her own behaviour- in a different light. Created by an entirely non cis male crew, The Retreat is about the struggle to feel power in an unjust world.
