A serial killer is on the prowl killing people living in Chawls and on streets in Mumbai's locality Chembur a Chawl is celebrity Navratri festival and come to know that the killer is in neighboring areas.After the celebration suddenly everyone in the Chawl hears a loud scream and gather outside the house of Anandrao Deshpande as they believe it was him who screamed but it was a matter of misunderstanding between his son Satish and him and the residents took it wrong.Annadrao claims that he is didn't scream but the residents are in no mood to listen and want to give Anandrao a justification for spoiling everyone's sleep.After the matter is solved for sometime Anandrao's daughter Veena sees a masked man in black clothes outside their house and screams the residents gather again at their door and keep a watch on Anandrao terming he has lost his mind and behind everything and also asks one of their residents Detective Raja whose also lover of Veena to find the truth behind the whole night mishap the investigation leads Raja in further trouble.
