Two women, Lauren and Nicole, find themselves in their early thirties and disconnected from their surroundings. In a chance meeting at a hipster Christian Bible study, the two immediate fall in friend love which turns into a co-dependent friendship over the next two years. This friendship is put to the test when Lauren finds Nicole dodging her phone calls to hang out with another friend. It seems an unresolvable difference of needs until they find their way into a karaoke booth. They invite their dear friend Jose to join them and he puts on their song. No difference is too great when you're singing Shania Twain.
