A Personal Pandemic (2022)

It is no surprise that Wendy and Bill's exhausted marriage is teetering on collapse. They are both complacent and stuck in a monotonous routine. Bill finally has enough and Wendy secretly hears him calling a friend to help him file for divorce. Then the pandemic stay-at-home quarantine is put into effect. Haunted by what it would be like to live with a woman who just received divorce papers from him, Bill quickly tries to hit the pause button on the divorce and instead make the best of the situation with his wife. But it's too late. Wendy's routine of jogging a nearby desert mountain trail in the city has already sparked interest, and perhaps a budding romance, with a nurse, Patrick, who also lives in the neighborhood and is unaware of her marriage. Stuck between a world of fantasy that is becoming painfully real and a painful reality that is showing signs of life, Wendy will need to learn something about herself, that is more important than any man.
