World War Who? (2020)

France, 1944, two days after D-Day, after an air raid attack upon an entire platoon comprised of U.S. soldiers from other platoons, two surviving soldier, Terrence Bigsby and Dick Cox, join forces, determined to survive the war. After becoming separated from their platoon the two soldiers are ambushed by a single enemy combatant that is quickly eliminated by a strange marooned hermit that turns out to have once been a famous movie director, Quentin McQueen. After having been rejected by Hollywood, McQueen flew out to Europe in his private plane in search of financing for his newest film, but was shot down. He tells the soldiers of his journey surviving the war, and how he has now recently discovered the whereabouts of secret buried treasure left behind by the retreating Nazis. He recruits the two soldiers on this mission to find the lost gold, but little does any of the characters know about the other's intentions.
