After serving 20 years in the military, Jermaine Baxter (Brian Jervay), has retired and is trying to adjust to his new career in the civilian workforce. By all accounts he's done a great job thus far and has really impressed his new boss Mr. Janzen (Casey Aud). Everything seems to be moving along just fine until he accidentally makes a comment that puts him on the wrong side of the fence of political correctness. Not wanting to lose one of his star employees, Mr. Janzen sends Jermaine to sensitivity training to fix the error of his ways. Frustrated with the way things are, Jermaine decides he wants to go back to where things make sense. While searching his emails, he comes upon a picture of his former lover, Zita Wallace (Karmia Berry), and that's when it all clicks. Being with Zita is the only thing that feels right. He has his cousin, Eddie (Shaune May), do a little recon to find where Zita is and what she's been up to. The good news is Eddie was able to find her. The bad news is Zita's engaged to another man. Determined to rekindle what they had, Jermaine sets out to win her back before she says "I do."
