Year 2015. Hanna, an elderly rich woman, looks after a young girl Darka that was shell-shocked during a military action in Ukraine. After the hospital Hanna takes Darka to her wealthy residence with the purpose of recovery. The relationship between two women unfolds over the memories of Hanna's son Danylo who was in love with Darka and died in Maidan in 2014. Hanna wants to bring Darka closer to herself and make her foster daughter and heir. But it turns out that the mother's life path from a 2004 Maidan activist to a high level official was connected with the activity that led to the 2010 mafia payback and the consequences that ended up with the 2013-2014 Revolution of Dignity. Hanna can't blame herself because she did only good to people around. But through the relationship with Darka she becomes more and more convinced in a direct dependency of her personal actions and the death of her son.
