Khoshkheyaltogiri (2019)

Ranjan, Abheri and Meeza are best friends spending their childhood in games of hide and seek that spill into stories of adventure in a fantastic land called Khoshkheyaltagiri, inhabited by strange nature worshiping cults; actually spun out of the old bag of hairs possessed by Ranjan's grandmother. The children grapple with the inevitability of disillusionment, friendship evolving into romance as the years gallop into adulthood. Ranjan and Abheri fall in love with each other while Meeza's family arranges for her marriage. Between moments of conjugal bliss, Abheri chances upon Ranjan's senile grandmother, mediating in an argument in between the cult-representatives of Khoshkheyaltagiri. It is revealed that Khoshkheyaltagiri is torn by war and communal violence. In an attempt to discover the truth about this fantasy land, Ranjan in his youthful defiance, embarks on a journey that will tear away the very fabric of his childhood memories, redefining his adulthood and every bond that he holds.
