"Calungá, the Sea that Separates is the Sea that Unites" addresses the Afro-Brazilian universe and evokes the crossing of black slaves to Brazil. The same sea that separated them from their continent, united peoples and added influences, leaving as a legacy the contribution to the formation of Brazilian cultural identity.
