Willibald Adrian Metzger hasn't heard from his classmates from class 8b for 25 years. And now he stumbles, in the truest sense of the word, over the corpse of the classmate who teased him mercilessly back then. When he returns to the scene with the police, however, the dead man has disappeared without a trace. The indignant detective thinks Willibald is drunk, but he knows exactly what he saw. Spurred on by the inquisitive Danjela Djurkovic, he organizes a class reunion that almost everyone actually attends: next to Pospischill, who made it into the police force despite his lack of intelligence, appear the paint monkey Lackner and the bigoted Meixner, who is now a priest. Even the old chemistry teacher Eder, who made a career as a rector, shows up. They are all amazed by the eloquence of the formerly shy outsider, who twists the words in their mouths with a witty tongue - and with his keen intellect uncovers a covered bloody deed.
