Feral (2015)

In a remote area of the Balkans, Amir, a bright young boy is ambitious to break away from the traditional peasant way of life by gaining a good education. But he is up against active opposition from his father and jealousy from a classmate. He is encouraged by his teacher but has to compete with his first crush who is an equally gifted student. Through sheer determination he overcomes the obstacles but does he eventually succeed in gaining the scholarship, which will enable his escape from the harsh way of life that would be his traditional inheritance?
