Our culture relies more and more on technology, and the argument is that there is a continuing decline in human interaction because of that. Periscope has become a way to establish that human connection in a new and unique way-something we as human beings, need and crave. Over the three months the director has been broadcasting, he's met a number of people from all over the world who have opened their lives up on Periscope. Some have risen to the ranks of celebrities, some are actual Hollywood stars, and others have overcome fears in their personal life due to just this simple app. Our goals for this documentary are to travel to numerous locations where fellow Periscopers live. What are their thoughts before they hit that "start broadcast" button? Find out why they scope and why people are turning to this app for acceptance, friendships, and discovering who they truly are.
