The house where Lazzarin ' (as everyone calls him) spends his days becomes the starting point to tell, through heterogeneous archival materials, private but also from institutional archives, the story of an italian village recomposed through the stories of its inhabitants . The characters of this choral novel speak with their own voice. A first person narration give back to the unit a multiple snippets of conversation, captions of old photographs, essays of seamanship, testimonies and popular legends, following Lazzarin' in his long silent days. The composition of the shots is based on the synthesis: the narrative proceeds along articulated images suggesting a complexity of viewpoints. But it's in the transition from memorabilia to artworks that emerges the stylistic side of this project: all the elements of the archives, created in response to specific needs, primarily of memory and documentation, they are considered in an aesthetic perspective and re-used in the composition of narrative original images.
