Pered ekzamenom (1978)

The heroine of the film is 18-year-old Tanya Gusakova. Having not decided which profession she should choose, at the insistence of her mother, she is preparing to take exams at the pedagogical institute. Having quarreled with her mother and a friend, Tanya wanders down the street, and a stranger gives her a ticket to the theater. At the performance, next to the heroine sits the one with whom the stranger did not go to the performance. This is how Tanya meets Ivan, a swimming instructor who has long since come to terms with a monotonous and uninteresting life for himself. This strange acquaintance convinces Tanya of the need to take her future more seriously.
