Mastane (2014)

A stark criticism of the Iranian justice system, Farahbakhsh's film focuses on Mastaneh, an established actress and national star. When she is sexually assaulted by the corrupt Jaami, her sister's piano teacher, Mastaneh appeals to the courts for justice and a fair trial. Already traumatized by Jaami's attack, she receives another shock when the system decides to punish her instead.
