Indie Girl (2017)

Indie Girl is a comedy/drama about Aaron Russell, a brilliant, young writer and director. At the age of 22, Aaron achieved the pinnacle of success in the filmmaking industry by having her first feature film, Estranged, get nominated for an Academy Award. Unfortunately, Aaron's second film, the lighthearted comedy, Wing Man was a colossal failure as the critics trashed the movie and it subsequently lost millions of dollars. Now Aaron leads a life of solitude as her self doubt and fears of failure have taken over her existence. Aaron's three closest friends, Axl, her unfiltered and blunt agent, Luke, her closest friend in the film industry, and Grace, her life long best friend try and help Aaron gain back her confidence and get back to doing what she was born to do - create magic on the big screen.
