Inspired by Machado de Assis' namesake tale, a man receives a mysterious summons to the entrance gate of a long-forgotten countryside residence. The woman emerges from the mud at the lake's depths, as if from a mirror of water. As they draw near, a spell is woven, leading them on a shared odyssey through the enchantment of hallucination, memory, and dreams. Mirrored reflections on the water unveil secrets concealed within the intricacies of the soul.
