Gerard (2017)

Jared was orphaned at a young age and he has grown up pretty much all alone since child hood. He makes up Gerard who is his imaginary friend and they make a pact to stay inside together forever which he is happy to do. He isn't really happy with his life but he is getting by until there is a change in his grocery delivery driver and then things take a turn. Jana and Jared hit it off pretty much immediately but Gerard really doesn't like her and does everything he can to try and convince Gerard not to go after her. In order to have Jana, Jared must take a chance and go outside but in order to maintain things with Gerard he has to stay inside. Jared is torn between the two and must decide on one or the other before he loses both of them in the process. This is a story about a guy that must overcome his fears in order to be happy.
