L'aquarium (1974)

Célestin has a passion for the fish and the sea and spends most of his time watching his small favorites swim in the aquarium he has made with his own two hands. What he dreams of is being a fisherman but his family (his mother, his sister, his brother in law) do not approve. They want him to be like everybody else, in other words to have a "real" job and to get married. At long last, Célestin yields to the pressure: he becomes a civil servant and marries Amelia, a young woman he feels nothing for. Naturally, happiness is not on the agenda...
