Downpour Summer (2016)

Downpour Summer centers around Brendan, a biracial young man who is constantly down on his luck. Having been abandoned by his white father, and raised by his black mother who is terminally ill, he has been unable to live a normal life. The film opens when Brendan receives a call from his estranged father's lawyer telling him that his father has passed away. During the call he also discovers that his father started a new family. When he arrives at the funeral, he meets his two half-siblings for the first time. They spend the next couple of weeks getting to know each other and must decide if they would like to remain in each others lives.
