Truancy

Truancy is a tragic love story about lost youth. A sixteen year old paper boy falls in love with his fifty year old dinner lady. After a tragic accident involving his young friend they are forced to flee their homes in Castleford. Now on the run they continue their affair in denial of what they've left behind. However the consequences of their action soon catch up with them and their road trip continues via Blackpool to the Scottish Highlands where she has connections to her childhood. Along the way they encounter further complications and before long the whole country is looking for them.
