Called to Duty: The Civil War Training Camps of New Jersey (2016)

The year was 1862; the Civil War is now in its second year, with no end in sight. More troops were needed to drive the south to its knees and bring this conflict to a hasty conclusion. Although it was not thought to be a popular decision, President Lincoln knew that more soldiers were need to fill the depleted ranks of existing units and to create new regiments to complete the task at hand. Follow the 14th NJ Volunteers from recruitment, through training, into battle and beyond!
