Follow three people of Rio de Janeiro in the years running up to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Urutau, an indigenous chief, tries to maintain to the city's last piece of indigenous ground located right next to the Maracanã sports stadium; Katja, a single mother, turns into a protest photographer as social discontentment rises; and Pélé, a street artist and impersonator of the eponymous soccer player is well on his way to improve his life during the World Cup. Along the years, we discover the impact of the two major sports events of the planet on these people's lives.
