The documentary '50 More Minutes', reveals the journey of the Hungarian national football team on their quest to qualify for the European Championship. The story is portrayed through an honesty lens, and includes behind scenes footage that were never seen before. Throughout 90 days the director-cameramen attended every training, strategic meeting and on days of matches he closely followed the players. By the end of the shooting he was part of the football team. The movie was shot during the captaincy of Sandor Egervari, Pal Dardai and Bernd Storck. The film unveils the relation between coaches and players, unmasks the leaders of the team, the personality of each player, how they prepare for the games and how they handle victory and defeat. The story of nine decisive matches has plenty of humor, suspense, emotions and dramatic turning points. All this reaches its climax when the Hungarian team qualifies for the European Championship (for the first time) after 44 year.
