Eyes on the Young (2007)

Eyes on the Young, a 20 minute short film, set in an Atlanta lower middle class community, where pimping and drug use is the order of the day. The leading man, Chris (Rico Ball) is handsome, charismatic, witty and charming. He is the epitome of a- Smooth Operator.Chris is on a mission to prove to his mentor, Tim (Da'Shon Waters) and his crew of friends, that he is more astute at influencing young women to work for him, than any man around. His goal is to prey on young girls and to turn them into exotic dancers or prostitutes. The leading lady, Vanessa (ShanQuilla Robinson) is his first real challenge. She is not your typical 18 year old. She is self-assured, attractive, and stands up for herself. Will Chris be able to manipulate her? Or will Vanessa be able to stand her ground?
