Gira (2012)

The Tour is a film about the impact of the Cuban painters tour around all Cuba who decide to extend their art spaces more far than Havana City and be more open to use another places to expose their works. Those artists show their art works in galleries, art academies and prisons believing in the power of arts and culture in the development of the spirits of the people. During this tour the public, in all those spaces, expose their point of view about plastic arts, some with more information and others using the powerful intuition to analyze some plastics works and also showing how arts can produce similar emotions and feelings in the persons even if they came from different social spheres. The tour is a possibility too, to realize that art can exist in any person who have the opportunity to be in touch with. It makes of this project a nice and open experience for prisoners and art students to express their knowledge and thoughts around art and freedom.
