'Make Me Dance' takes an in depth look at one of the most prestigious dance schools in the United States, The Boston Conservatory. It features a diverse group of young dancers and a world renowned New York based choreographer, Darrell Grand Moultrie, who has chosen to hold residency at the Boston Conservatory to craft his new work, "Winds of Now". Darrell brings all his energy and convictions to this work, breaking the stereotypes of body type, i.e., the "ballet look', in an attempt redefine what it means to be a "Dancer", and to have these new views be accepted into the ballet and modern dance world. From competitive auditions, through rehearsals, culminating in opening night at Boston Conservatory Theater, 'Make Me Dance' is a revelation of spirit, a revealing look into the lives of a diverse group of young students as they learn what it means to be a Dancer.
