Rubber Soul (1978)

God and the Devil and their friendly little wager over a soul. Today's 'soul du jour' is that of a schlep whose life is neither here nor there. No real acts or good or evil for this simple soul. So a few tests are sent his way and a score is kept. After having no affect, the 'big guns', in the form of a comely woman and the manifestation of the son of God. With this ultimate test sent his way, will one of these temptations win him over or will this soul ultimately end up in the 'circular file'?
