Deep Playa Sunrise is one of the only fictional stories ever allowed to film at Burning Man. On the surface, this simple tale follows a profoundly deaf combat vet, as he searches the festival for hearing-aid batteries. Underneath however, Deep Playa Sunrise, is an attempt to describe the intimate side of Burning Man and unearth some of the very real magic that people encounter once a year. **Deep Playa Sunrise was approved by Burning Man's governing body, Black Rock City, LLC.
