An intimate love story exploring the relationship, artistic passion and career of 89 year old British writer Bernard Kops and his muse Erica, as they come to terms with a major theme in Bernard's work: death. Kops manages to do so with with humor, poetry and good old fashioned chutzpa. Combining vérité footage with traditional Jewish songs, Kops' poetry is utilized to delve in and out of indelible moments of his life. Kops' student and mentee, Jill Campbell has created a raw and passionate celebration of this special and last of a dying breed of 'Angry Young Men.' Screened at the JW3 Center London.
