Earthlight (2014)

As people, we want to explore beyond the Earth. But for many, the growing challenges of sustaining our civilization has become too important to ignore. To meet this challenge, we will need agriculture technology that uses resources extremely efficiently. The answers might lie where we least expect them. NASA's development of Bio Regenerative Life Support, or using plants to recycle air and water, is the best example of this type of technology. It may be that exploring further and living on another planet is not a luxury after all, but instead a crucial step in how humans change the paradigm we are caught in on Earth.
