Faraway: Russia

"Faraway" is a lighthearted travel documentary series informing the English-speaking world about the underrated regions around planet Earth for what they are, without a political slant. The series covers food, culture, wilderness, exciting drives, and how a typical day is like for people of various classes, ethnicities, and lifestyles in these places. The first part of the series will be set in the diverse 17 million sq. km land of the Russian Federation, where 135 languages are spoken, and people of 185 designated ethnic groups reside. Aside from the 2018 FIFA World Cup coverage, being that we will hit the vast majority of hosting cities, we want to show what the "other side" is like.
