It's Easier to Raise Cattle (2017)

In a silent and remote village in Malaysia, Rahmah is a shy and heavy-set girl who quietly hides in the shadows. She has an obsession with the local wild child - confident, beautiful and the complete opposite to anyone else Rahmah has ever known. The two teenage girls eventually form an uncanny friendship, however Rahmah begins to discover that her new friend has deep and dark secrets. As their friendship evolves, Rahmah observes the changes in her best friend to the point of violence, monstrosity and affection.
