Menendez: Blood Brothers (2017)

(hypothetical version of a real murder trial) Cuban refugee Jose Menendez became a successful businessman, but is an impossible to please tyrant at home. His wife Kitty resigned to her abandoned career for the luxury at their Beverly Hills mansion. But it's hell for their sons, who are bullied to follow in his footsteps, punished cruelly and regularly abused as sex toys. Firstborn, tough Lyle sort of escapes to Princeton, but that makes it even worse for younger, gentler Erik, who even suffers 'genital inspections' from Kitty, who fears a venereal infection from Jose's mistresses. Lyle visits home, hears dad ends Erik's promising tennis career over one loss and orders him to UCLA, so the abuse an continue, demands his brother can bunk with him instead or threatens to expose the perversion. Erk discovers firearms in the parental bedroom, Lyle concludes Jose plans to eliminate the brothers and decides to strike first, shooting both in bed, with frightened Erik. The police suspects the after Lyle's puzzling eulogy. It comes to a trial, where the judge sabotages their defense and Erik looses blind trust in Lyle, revealing he once imitated pa's abuse before puberty.
