Havana and Barcelona have much in common. The Catalan Indians built extensively in Havana and you can also see many similarities in Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia or in the uptown's grand houses. Nowadays, Barcelona has become home to many talented Cubans: artists, musicians, doctors and unique but ordinary people. In this film, they sing, dance and explain their experiences in Barcelona, and how much they miss their own land. They get excited, cry and laugh. They tell us how they have adapted to life in this brotherly country, but different, colder and more formal. They talk about the special period caused by the fall of the Berlin Wall, and also about medicine and Afro-Cuban culture.
