Around Down and Through

A marine comes home to his wife and daughter after being wounded in combat. When Nick comes home from Iraq paralyzed from the waist down, the life he once had starts to crumble around him- even if the collapse is only in his head. Can he still be the man he needs to be, the man he wants to be, for his wife and daughter? Spiraling into depression, self-medicating, Nick's perception of himself is affecting a once blissful relationship with his wife, Sam, and daughter, Kenadee. Though his family loves him deeply, he pulls away. His wife fights for him, but he needs to fight for himself or he will be lost. Nick left home thinking this would be his last deployment. Having big hopes and plans for the future, with his wife and daughter, he walked out the door knowing that when he came home, they'd enjoy life together the way they had always planned.
