Ronja is 16 years old when her little brother, Benjamin, asks her if she is a grown-up; a question she does not have an answer to - but it reminds her of her childhood, and she notices how different Benjamin's childhood is from her own. As a result, Ronja is determined to get Benjamin away from modern technologies and outside to where she used to play. However, is she doing it in an effort to help Benjamin see a different side of childhood, or so she, for a brief moment, can escape her fear of the unknown future and feel like a child once more?
