Si Rano (1973)

Si Rano tells the story of Rano, who lives with a fried sweet potato seller, Amin, since he was separated from his father at Jatinegara station. Rano was then sent to school and turned out to be a clever student. When his friend invited him to play at home, Rano was insulted by his friend's mother, which made Amin furious. Amin, who did not dare to enter, saw the beggar being beaten. It turns out to be Rano's father, who eventually dies from his injuries.
