Purple Day (1999)

A Chinese farmer volunteered against the Japanese invasion. After a bomb attack he get rescued by the two Russian survivors and together they join forces. Later they find two new victims. Two young Japanese school girls that was forced to move to China as a new resident due to their father is the leading general of the imperial army. The farmer feel sympathy and promises the girls to send them home cross the border.
