The Prototype (2017)

A promising startup is on the verge of bankruptcy. Alan and Jamie are wide-eyed scientists with ambitions of changing the world. Desperate, they concoct a story about a fake medical instrument ready for prototyping that will diagnose any illness or disease by communicating directly with human cells. The fraudulent claim seems to be working as they find an interested investor. In a shocking turn of events, the investor reveals something to them that changes their lives forever.
