The Boat (2017)

One night. Kwon persuades the boatman who has already done the job and starts to cross the river by boat. The boatman finds out that Kwon rode to see the child across the river, but the boatman does not remember carrying his child. Everyone has to ride this ship to cross the river. In fact, this ship was a boat to the afterlife, the boatman was an angel, and Kwon had committed suicide in order to meet his child. Kwon, knowing that his child has not arrived yet across the river, wants to go back, but he can not turn back his ship. Eventually, Kwon jumps into the river to wait in the water until his child crosses the river. This story is an a fable about the sinking of Sewol on April 16, 2014.
