Carry on Little Sis (2019)

Michaela has just lost her beloved older sister Naomi and is trying to cope the best she can. Naomi struggled with severe bipolar disorder and was constantly being hospitalized for her manic episodes. Naomi's illness took an emotional toll on Michaela and Michaela found it difficult to be there for Naomi when she was ill. So, when Naomi died, this left Michaela with a lot of guilt around not being there for her when she was sick. This short film takes place at the Shiva for Naomi's death. Michaela sneaks off from the rest of the crowd into her sister's room, reminiscing over her belongings. A mysterious lady soon appears and tells Michaela that Naomi sent her there with an important message. Michaela decides to hear the message despite being nervous about it and it ends up being a powerful occurrence providing relief from the guilt, as well as feelings of warmth and closure.
